DVS would like to Welcome Netgenium to our product portfolio!

Netgenium is a UK based manufacturer of IP Power over Ethernet (PoE) products and solutions. Inventors of the IP PoE Lock Controller in 2003, Netgenium were the first company in the world to power industry standard locking hardware from Power over Ethernet. Over the years, the range of products has expanded and includes IP PoE Access Control, IP PoE Audio and IP PoE Intelligent Lighting solutions.

What they offer to DVS?

The Netgenium IP PoE Active Speaker range including ceiling mount, projector, horn, column, cabinet and pendant models. All speakers are native IP devices and share the common functionality of a standard RJ45 interface, an on board amplifier, on board audio file storage, power from PoE and configuration using a web browser.

Working with Hikvision

Netgenium has recently partners with Hikvision, the world’s leading provider of innovative video surveillance products and solutions. Their initial integration combines the range of Netgenium IP PoE speakers and Hikvision’s NVR and CCTV cameras.

Audio files stored on the IP Speakers can be triggered from events sent across the IP Network from the NVR. VMD from a camera can automatically command a single or group of IP speakers to play an announcement stored on the IP speaker itself.

Alternatively, a physical trigger from an NVR alarm input could also command a single or group of IP Speakers to play an announcement again stored on the IP speaker itself. Find out more
